The Warwick Economics Summit is the largest student-run economics conference in Europe.

ABOUT US

The Warwick Economics Summit (WES) is the largest student-run economics conference in Europe. Now in its 20th year, the Summit has evolved into a international forum where talented students from top universities can engage with the world's most influential speakers. The Summit's focus goes far beyond economics, encompassing the broader spheres of the social sciences, including development, politics, psychology and international relations.

It is this diversity of students and content that sets the Summit apart from other events, ensuring that it remains relevant to today's wider issues.

How you can access top students:

DURING SUMMIT WEEKEND

Stand at Summit Careers Fair: Our 550 diverse students love to engage with the WES Careers Fair, exploring the opportunities on display and engaging with representatives. We will assist in setting up your stand, please bring promotional materials, merchandise, and energy!

Promotional videos: You can have videos of your choice play during the summit weekend, to our entire audience. This is an incredible opportunity to present your organisation alongside powerful and inspiring talks by our world-renowned speakers.

Interactive seminar & workshops: Very popular with delegates are interactive seminars and workshops, a key part of the Summit schedule. Host these to allow students to experience life at your organisation, and gain understanding about your work.

Networking Opportunities: One of the best ways to interact with students is the wine reception, held on the very first day of the summit. We can also run a networking dinner with students and your representatives.

Logo at the start of Youtube videos: With 1,400+ subscribers, 180,000+ views and counting, exposure on our YouTube videos ensures your reach beyond the summit. Your company logo can appear before all of our content.


THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Leveraging of Social Media: Our social media has the largest reach on campus, with an unmatched 10,000+ followers and 9,500+ likes on our Facebook Page. We want to share your content throughout the year ensuring all students are always aware of your opportunities.

Stall at Freshers’ Fair: Distribution of your merchandise and content to 1000s of students upon their arrival to university.


On-campus physical marketing: Our team will run physical stands at the centre of the Warwick campus to inform students your career opportunities, and inform of upcoming application dates.

Networking with delegates at ‘WES Presents’ Events: Bespoke stand-alone events held in late 2020 that generate excitement for the main conference and offer a chance for you to engage with delegates throughout the year.

Office Tours: Organise office tours to your Office during term time, during October to February.

Campus Events: Summer Internship & Spring Week Panel, Company Presentations or pre-screened social networking events running across October to February.

Promotional Emails: Partners can ask us to send out emails for promotional purposes to over 6000 students on the WES mailing list.

Advertising after Speaker Releases: When one of the speakers is announced across our social media your company logo will be featured.
